About Peb’s Modern Rustic Designs

Peb’s Modern Rustic Designs was officially created in the fall of 2025 — but this story actually began back in 2017… on a date night.

What started as a fun DIY outing quickly turned into something much bigger. We stepped into a studio, made a couple of wooden signs, and immediately fell in love — with the creativity, the experience, and the way it brought us closer. After a second visit, the owner joked, “You should buy this studio.” We laughed — there was no way.

Then came a third visit for a wedding shower. The owner recognized us instantly and said it again — you really need this place. That’s when we took the leap. We poured everything into it — savings, retirement, heart and soul — and built a business that became family. Even our dogs were part of the studio.

Then 2020 happened.
And like so many others, we lost it all.

But the love for this never left.

Years later, after experiencing personal loss and still waking up every day missing what we built, we came across a photo of our old studio on Facebook. We took it as a sign. If something keeps calling you back, there’s a reason.

So here we are — rebuilding what we love most.

At Peb’s Modern Rustic Designs, our passion is bringing people together through hands-on creativity. We believe DIY should be fun, relaxed, and full of connection — families and friends gathered in the comfort of home, laughing, talking, snacking, maybe enjoying a cocktail or two, and creating something meaningful together.

Eric is the wood-cutting powerhouse behind the scenes, and I’m your instructor and biggest cheerleader. We’ve been married for 23 years, our family is everything to us, and our goal is simple:

To bring love, joy, and connection into homes — one handmade sign at a time.
